When Worlds Refuse to Stand Still
Ian Mattison invites you into a galaxy of sacrifice and growth. This is not just a story. It’s a journey through the beating heart of the First World’s will.
Every world needs its heroes… and its challengers.
The World Evolvers is a journey across worlds, hearts, and the edge of survival.
The story begins before stars, with the First World, an ancient planet that sacrifices itself so others may grow.
Temple Roads is born with the First World’s legacy in his blood, a power too great to remain hidden.
From mountain caverns to brutal arenas, Temple learns that control can be built through adaptability and unshakable will.
At the Core of creation, Temple must decide: release the First World’s will to awaken galaxies, or let it fade forever.

Ian Mattison is the creator of The World Evolvers, an expansive YA science-fantasy series that blends mythic storytelling, cinematic action, and deeply human characters. His work explores the forces that shape worlds, love, fear, control, and the will to evolve through immersive narratives that draw readers into galaxies of danger, beauty, and transformation.
Ian’s journey to becoming an author was anything but ordinary. At a young age, he was expelled from sixth grade and then removed from the school system entirely, sent to a boarding school in New York. He lasted only six months before being expelled again and placed in the controversial Straight Inc. program, where he remained for over two years. Those early years were defined by turbulence, confrontation, and forced change, but they also became the crucible that forged his voice.
The World Evolvers series is born directly from that transformation. While the events in his books are told through the lens of science fiction cosmic battles, evolving worlds, and heroes on the brink, the emotional core comes from lived experience: the struggle to survive, adapt, and ultimately evolve into something stronger.
When he’s not writing, Ian can be found designing bold new ventures, pushing the boundaries of his craft, or exploring the intersections of technology, storytelling, and human potential. His mission is simple: create worlds worth entering, and stories worth carrying long after the last page is turned.
